Expert\u00a0in the Cabinet of EU Trade Commissioner, Cecilia Malmstr\u00f6m, Dr. Christian Burgsmueller, used his opening remarks at the GED sponsored, \u201cHow to Make TTIP Inclusive for All<\/a>\u201d panel at the European Forum Alpbach, to stress the EU\u2019s commitment to ensure a strong role developing countries in, as he put it, \u201cthe spaghetti bowl of trade agreements\u201d. Holding the EU up as a model for enabling the least developed countries to benefit from multi-lateral, free trade agreements, Burgsmueller discussed Commissioner Malmstr\u00f6m\u2019s extensive work in this area and stressed the challenges around integrating the variety of FTA\u2019s currently being negotiated.<\/p>\n
