Under the animation of GED experts Christian Bluth and Ulrich Schoof we had a lively discussion on the implications of a potential free trade agreement between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union.<\/p>\n<p>In particular we discussed the following questions:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 What would the main economic effects of such a free trade area be?<br \/>\n\u2022 How could such a free trade area be used to defuse the present tensions? What would the geopolitical perspective of such an agreement be?<br \/>\n\u2022 What would such an agreement mean for the specialization of the Eurasian Economic Union economies?
