“Can we mine our way out of a climate crisis? Or are modern capitalists hiding behind green buzzwords to strike it rich?” – Samuel George, author and filmmaker, Lithium Rising
Following this year’s successful screening of the documentary Lithium Rising: The Race for Critical Minerals, the Bertelsmann Foundation is excited to announce the launch in Berlin of the accompanying book Lithium Rising.
This book expands on the film’s themes and insights with striking photography and graphics, offering a deeper look into one of the most pressing resource debates of our time.
To mark its release, we are hosting a panel discussion on critical raw materials – a topic of growing strategic importance for politics, business, and society. The discussion will address the urgent challenges in securing access to these resources and explore future pathways for resilience and sustainability.
